This paper, titled "Application of Microtremor Survey Technology in a Coal Mine Goaf," explores the use of microtremor survey technology for detecting goafs (abandoned mining areas) in coal mines. The study was conducted in the Nanling Coal Mine in Taiyuan, China, using a linear array and rolling acquisition method to collect microtremor data. The extended spatial autocorrelation method (ESPAC) was employed to extract dispersion curves, which were then inverted to obtain the apparent shear wave velocity profiles. The results showed clear low-velocity anomalies corresponding to the goaf areas, demonstrating the effectiveness of microtremor exploration in detecting underground voids.
