Observation of Aftershocks in Yangbi, Yunnan
On the evening of May 21st at 21:48, a 6.4 magnitude earthquake occurred in Yangbi County, Dali Prefecture, Yunnan Province;
On the afternoon of May 24th, 15 sets of UGL3C arrived in the earthquake area to serve as aftershock monitoring services;
On the 26th, all devices were installed and independently networked for operation, and waveform data was transmitted in real-time through 4G wireless networks;
4G intelligent Seismometer and earthquake real-time analysis platform monitored 371 earthquakes, 7% more than the manual processing results of the national fixed network in the same period.
As of 17:00 on May 28th, the system has automatically detected and located 830 earthquakes, with a minimum magnitude of -2 and a maximum magnitude of 4.1. The data recorded by the 4G intelligent Seismometer and the processing results of the real-time seismic analysis platform are shared in real time with the Seismological Bureau of Yunnan Province and other units.
